Although Fall/Winter  seems like months away, and the days seem to be getting hotter, designers have already supplied us with colour and trends for the season.  If you don’t already know, than take a look below for some of the latest trends and colour that will be making its way to our stores: 

Texture:  Trends this fall will be largely texture driven as Designer have used a mixture of leather, lace, velvet, fur, feathers, and textured Fall/Winter fabrics like wool, tweed, and jersey. For example, a thick wool skirt should be paired with a silk blouse or lightweight cotton tee.  A thick sweater should be paired with slim trousers.

Pleats and Frills:  Pleats, frills, cute rosettes and lovely embriodery is in!  they work great for the Endless Romantic style. Different designs of frills and pleats on the top of the shirts and dresses or skirts. 
High-waisted trousers / wide leg trousers: Wide leg trouser with high waist comes as one possible form of wide pants, which are totally trendy.   They are comfy, stylish and often elegant

Transparent maxi dresses and maxi skirts: it looks so effortless, feminine and sophisticated. Loose and flowing, relaxed sheer pieces. although it’s see-through, it doesn’t mean that you should show off your breast or underwear, if that’s not your style Go for a semi sheer option, for instance, or a sheer maxi with a shorter inbuilt slip or just add some underneath to it. be smart to pair it with a warm piece of outerwear, like a cropped jacket or a coat.


Bows and scarves: Nothing in winter is quite as warm, soft and embracing as a beautiful scarf to wrap around our necks, Super Feminine blouses with bows or scarves are hot, in a wide varity of fabrics and prints.


Prints: No boundaries are set as far as prints go, so prepare to be dazzled by some amazing detailed outfits, which definitely make all the difference. Floral prints seem to have made a huge impact over the fashion scene as they are still maintaining a firm position on the runways.  Animal is now such a classic print that designers are using rainbow colours with these traditional motifs. Green, red, blue and purple are all colours available in animal print dresses. Leopard, zebra as well as snakeskin prints look amazing and are must-haves this fall, Ethnic, graphic as well as abstract prints have made a statement on the runways, so get ready to impress with some bold designs.


Maxi coats. Long jackets to on the ground: Fall and winter are all about outerwear. Coat designers have offered us this season are all very diverse, military style, bomber, tailored. The jackets are long, very long. That was the story on most runways,  they where floor-sweeping!

  
Inspired by various decades: This season, the 70s are still in the spotlight but a comeback of sixties’ and forties’ fashions silhouettes also appears. Try  it this season with rounded collars, high necklines, coats with sloping shoulders and bracelet sleeves.  fabrics such as brocade and accessories made in felt are key pieces that will complete your look

  
Masculine: Oversized, double-breasted blazers and coats with a cool androgynous allure represent strong, masculine-inspired pieces for fall/winter . man inspired outfits like suits, shirts and other clothing pieces. women dressed like men, androgyny indeed seems to be the most significant trend this season.


Fetishes: Although this trend is not for everyone it still came as a solid contender for trends to watch out for this winter.  One of the most popular theme for this trend is the dominatrix look. Feel- X-rated - shiny surfaces, corseted waists, bondage handcuffs, mistress hats and boots, the look is in, and catching fast!
